Logic – Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind

The prolific Bobby Tarantino continues to harness his creativity. With his debut novel Supermarket arriving on March 26th, Logic has decided to bless the game at large with another full-fledged album. Enter Confessions Of A Dangerous Mind, his fifth official studio album, following last year’s YSIV.

While Bobby T previously shared his titular single on Twitter, the song has hit streaming services in select markets, which bodes well for playlist curation.

The track finds Logic collaborating with his kindred musical spirit 6ix, and many have already praised the single’s direction on both a sonic and thematic level.

Never one to shy away from topics of depression, Logic addresses the dangers of social media, and succumbing to the devilish nature of self-doubt.

“‘Cause you’ll never be Kenny, You’ll never be better than Drizzy or Cole,” he reflects, citing common critiques from online naysayers. “You’re losing your hair, you’re too fucking old,” yeah, these are the comments I’m readin’ on Twitter right now.” Yet unlike his massive radio single “1-800-273-8255,” “Confessions” finds Logic taking a more nuanced approach, tackling themes of anxiety and insecurity with a welcome intimacy.
